The OPEN MIND - 4 track acetate

A Philips 10 inch metal acetate containing four tracks from the 1969 album. I have no idea what the intention of this acetate was (an EP release?) other than it is a demo dated 14th November 1969. Numbering on the acetate suggests that an EP release was considered.

All tracks appear to play at a higher pitch than vinyl releases.

Sir Henry, you've got some KILLER 45s and rarities!!!

Information for 'trainspotters' only...the song 'Soul' has a slightly longer title on The Open Mind album. On this it's titled 'Soul And My Will'

Hello Expo, and thank you.

You are correct that the title is longer on the released LP. I am wondering why the acetate has the tracks playing at a higher pitch.

Hello Bruce.

Delighted to hear that you find this site to your liking. I will set about fixing the broken links over the following days. I have no idea why it happens, but from time to time, certain links just die.

Regards

Sir Henry
