"I never argue with anyone about the death penalty, politics, their football team or God. They are the things nobody changes their minds on, so it's a waste of time."

Simon Napier-Bell

The music that matters from Britain during the sixties; a lost time when the British sports car ruled, BOAC traversed the Empire, and manners were largely adhered to.

The Pussyfoot unreleased 1966 demo 'I Can See'

I was very kindly sent a demo of 'I Can See' and 'Things That Still Remind Me' by Pussyfoot vocalist Terry Barfield, along with some unseen photographs of the band from 1966.

Concerning the demo Terry recalls:

That version of " Things that still remind me" is the first demo we
recorded and was to be the A side with" I can see" as the B side of
our first release, prior to signing up with Decca in 1966.
Then at rehearsals we played them Freeloader and that became our " A "
side and "Things that still remind me" was Re recorded at the Decca
studios.

Very nice post but unfortunately both links point to the same song. "I Can See" is missing.

Excellent songs, reminds me a bit of the soft style of Peter and Gordon or Chad and Jeremy. Great to see you back, Sir Henry.
